Ben Porcari, along with partners Marcelo Gandola, Jonathan Hoffman and Pete Conlin are collaborating on Empire Visual Effects; a new visual effects studio in Buffalo. Along with Daemen College, the new studio will train workers in the field of post production.
This is another example of Governor Cuomo’s commitment to helping to grow the Film Industry in Upstate NY. The aggressive Film Tax Credit Program funded at $420 million/year represents $1.2 billion/year in production and post production spending, and thousands of jobs across NYS.
I have said it before and I will say it again….jobs, jobs, jobs.
