Working on features, commercials, music videos and shorts is a team effort. All one has to do is look at a call sheet to see just how many talented individuals are required in order to deliver the final cut from concept to completion. Early calls, long shoot days, extreme conditions; are all part of a typical day in the life of a crew member. Maybe that is why crew members are more like family than they are like co-workers.
The film professionals who live and work in the Rochester/Finger Lakes regions truly are a family. They support each other and in times of need, they are there to lend a hand and offer comfort to their family and the community.
The Roc for the Crew event this Sunday is one example of this.

Join us for a night of music and friendship to benefit Tiffany Staropoli, Bob Schils, and Lipson Cancer Center.
Live entertainment will feature an open jam session with players from the advertising/production community, followed by a set from Blunderbuss.
Drinks, dancing, and laughter will all flow in abundance as our community, friends, and family come together to support two of our own.
A $20 donation from everyone will be divided equally to help support Bob, Tiff, and Lipson Cancer Center. But more important than the proceeds will be the healing energy provided by everyone in attendance. Please feel free to share among your networks and help spread the word.
