Since opening in 1989, our goal has been to create and nurture a community of talented animation artists. Using the fundamentals of traditional animation and the availability of new advances in technology, Animatus has melded classical techniques and high tech computer power to create a wide choice in visual styles and imagery.
At Animatus Studio, we can edit industrial films, commercials, documentaries, and music videos all in house.
We have three dedicated edit stations, drawing on both Final Cut Pro and the Adobe Production Suite, which includes Premiere, Audition, and Encore.
Non-linear Editing is only part of the process, and so for motion graphics and animation, we rely on the latest versions of Adobe’s After Effects and Animate.
We own several of the best sound effect libraries with over 9,000 sounds. Included are the Janus, Warner Brothers, Hanna-Barbera, Turner Entertainment, Amadeus, Saul Zaentz, and 20th Century Fox libraries. Our clients also have access to music soundtrack library collections from Sound Ideas and Flying Hands.
Some of the cost-effective services we offer:
High Definition Video
DVD and Blu-ray Authoring
Film and Video Transfers to DVD
Audio Production (music, narration, and effects)

This encompasses traditional hand-drawn animation, title graphics, special effects and live action clean-up. Each job brings new challenges, and Mike is well versed in melding traditional animation techniques with computer technology.
Editing is the final step of writing, where the message of a piece gets locked into its final form, and Mike loves taking on that challenge. In addition, Mike has worked as assistant director, producer, even actor on documentaries, narrative features, shorts, commercials, and web series.
